Happy Holidays! take a peak at some of what we have achieved in 2021.. CTLC is moving forward!

WOW. What a profound, breathtaking, exhilarating experience I have been having since launching ‘Cherry Tree Learning Centre’ on Sunday 29th August 2021. It’s only been 3 months and 3 weeks, yet I have learned so much about what it means to run a business successfully! I have learned that ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ but that patience in all aspects of being a business owner is a necessary character trait. I have learned that being passionate about my business means embracing everything to do with it even when it’s unfamiliar territory or feels uncomfortable. Being flexible, open-minded and willing to learn is crucial. I have learned that I have to wear many hats – Founder, CEO, Director, Strategist, Principal, Content Creator, Administrator, Supervisor, Assessor, Mentor – to name a few! There is never a dull moment (I hate being bored) and I wish there were another 24 hrs in a day, but hey, I am very grateful that I get to live my dream everyday. I look forward to waking up everyday. I thank God for the many blessings that I am receiving through this experience and I look forward to whatever the journey has for me and CTLC in 2022! It’s another opportunity to make peoples dreams become a reality through Education and Adult training. It’s another opportunity to empower, inspire, encourage, support and assist others to realise their dreams and ambitions. It’s another way to bring people together as a Community under the banner of ‘Cherry Tree Learning Centre’. Whilst the world is in chaos and filled with uncertainty the one thing I know is that I will continue to commit myself to you and anyone who needs CTLC’s services.

So firstly I want to thank God for giving me this gift and for showing me how to make it transition from a vision/dream to now becoming a reality!

Secondly, I want to personally thank everyone who has supported Cherry Tree Learning Centre in whatever capacity you have done so. I could not have achieved any of this without your continued input, ideas and teamwork! So THANK YOU! to all my ‘Team Cherry’ Senior Management Team, Customer Relations Team, Pastoral Care Team, Tutors & Trainers Team, Community Partners, Subscribers, Followers, Likers and Collaborators. You guys are simply the best.

Thirdly, (but by no means least) I would like to acknowledge, give a round of applause to and say a massive THANK YOU! to all Cherry Tree Parents & children, Young People and Adults for trusting and believing in our aims, objectives, initiatives, abilities and professionalism. Myself and my Teams salute you all! You inspire us to continue to be creative, innovative and fun. We are happy that you are part of the CTLC family and look forward to seeing you in 2022 as we continue on this journey together.

The New Year will be bringing a lot of new initiatives, new Community partnerships, new collaborative projects, new fundraising events, new services and so much more! I am sooh excited and can’t wait to celebrate the cherry blossoms that will bloom and become visible at Cherry Tree Learning Centre with you all.

In the meantime let me share with you all a few of the services and events that CTLC has held between Sept-Dec 2021.

Such a well received and demanded class that we had to run it twice! The second time around we had 68 attendees from the following countries:

UK, Canada, Cayman Islands, BVI, Antigua, Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia & U.S. to name a few! I am happy to announce that we will be running this very popular course on a regular basis in 2022. Look out for more dates!

It was such a fabulous pre-Christmas treat to be a part of award winning Chef Janice's bakery class..my mouth was watering with her tasty breads and cakes. Look out for more opportunities to sample her tasty cooking and baking classes in 2022.

I don't know who was more excited about this class - the adults or the kids (including me!). It was such a fun cookery class and it was nice to see kids of all ages cooking along with our fabulous Auntie Jackie. We will be scheduling this class for every school term holiday in 2022, so watch out for further info soon.
