About the Event

This is a FREE event that will introduce children to simple dishes they can do at home. Let’s get them excited in a fun way about helathy eating and help them learn how to prepare simple dishes of their own. Bookings are being taken now. Simply go to our “Upcoming Events“ page, click on the ‘RSVP’ button and voila..All done !

The children will be taught about making a healthy alternative to chocolate using carob powder. They will be taught  about the benifits of using carob powder and how to turn them into delicious deserts.

The children will also be taught about the dangers of sugar and shown natural alternatives. In addition, they will learn about the importance of eating a healthy diet.

The majority of the ingredients that the children will need can be bought at your local supermarket. Some you may have at home already. There is one ingredient that might be hard to get which is:

 Carob Powder (substitute for chocolate)

Carob powder is an essential ingredient for this class as all  of the recipes will need this ingredient. You can get it in health food shops.  If you do not have carob powder or cannot get it, I can get it sent out to you at a cost of 5 pounds + postage.
