BLACK & SURVIVING.

Are you a black woman who has had an "experience" with Breast cancer? Are you a woman of faith? Have you been challenged or judged because of the decisions you have made to keep you alive? Do you want to share your story and be a source of encouragement to other women in the same dilemma that you were in? Are you interested in finding out how breast cancer has affected black women historically? If you have answered "yes" to any of the questions above, then this presentation is for you.

We will hear a "lived experience" from a breast cancer survivor who is also a woman of faith. We will explore the myths and expel the misinformation that faces many women of faith in this very difficult and challenging situation. 

You will be empowered, encouraged and supported. There is no judgement. Just a safe space in which to share and get a better understanding of who God is and how much He loves us no matter what.
